Slade's 6th Birthday
Slade's 6th Birthday was a hoot. We had it at Tropical Twist with all his buddies from school and a few of his suburby mates and his cousins. There were quite a few kiddies, 33 from a 35 invitation list!
It started as a long list then I made Slade short list and then short list again and then I short listed. He just loves everyone and everyone loves him.
All the kids had a ball and it was non-stop running around until nibbly time and cake and then they were all off again.
After the party we headed back home for some roast meat rolls that Grandmamy made and some of my sausage rolls. Slade opened his pressies and people were good to him considering me were travelling in a caravan. The ant farm was a bit scary I imagined him taking it with us and then my waking up one morning to ants in the van, thankfully Poppy offered to look after it for him. Thank you Poppy.
Slade got a machine type of gun that shoots rubbery bullets and the uncles had a lot of fun setting up Shelby and Isla's dollies as targets!
There was a lot of lego too which was great because he loves making his lego. He has made all of them up already.
