Mini Tour continued...

This was the fantastic fun park on the main drag of Donnybrook. Well worth a see.

We stayed another night in Bridgetown we were going to do a free camp, but its too cold for us (me) . WE left for Mandurah, we are staying there for 3 nights. Poppy's surprise party is on Saturday so this gives us more time to get ready. We are staying at the mandurah tourist park and Rod Jules Brock and jess have booked a budget cabin to stay in for the saturday night

Poppys surprise birthday and all is good. We got ready and headed to the sebel in convoy with Rochelle and rod and jules. Poppy was so surprised he had breakfast all over his shirt, it was untucked his hair was all messy, he was embarrassed and surprised all at once. A lovely day, Mum managed to pull off a really special day for him. Tracy managed to get lost with nana keri and I spent most of the time speaking to them on the phone. When the afternoon finished Tracy left the lights on in poppy' s car and she had a flat battery. She asked clint for a jump start but didnt hear that he was talking to shelby, as shelby had said she hated her dad for making her sit in her carseat, At the same time Shelby said that, Tracy asked for a jump start and Clint said 'too bad I cant be everyone friend' Well tracy thought he was talking to her and she was speechless with tears in her eyes, until clint told her he was talking to Shelby, very funny stuff. So clint and tracy pushed the charade down the road for awhile while Nana Keri pee-ed herself laughing.

Sunday the 19th is Clint's birthday, the boys cooked brekky in the rain and then we ate in their cabin. Everyone headed back to Perth and we settled in for a stormy day. The night worried me a little as the weather forecasted hail storms and severe winds. I hope the caravan handles it!!

We made it through the night, although the hail did start to sound like glass was breaking on the roof of the caravan. We didnt get much sleep being that it was our first night of wild weather in the caravan so we packed up and hitched up the caravan and left mandurah by 7.50. only took us 45 minutes to do this. WE headed home to do some washing and then headed up to Jurien Bay.

We got to Jurien in the afternoon and the weather was still crappy. The next day we put on our raincoats as the weather was shocking, with wind and rain, but we headed down to the beach to confirm to Slade that it was too windy to go fishing. It started to really pour with rain and Clint, Slade and Isla ran for cover under the jetty, meanwhile Clint was in hysterics laughing at me trying to rescue my croc thongs from getting sucked into the ocean, whilst Shelby was screaming at me in the pouring rain to grab her bungers from going in the same direction. What do you do? When your 4 year old daughter wants you to save her thongs!! You go running and you get wet. Its only water!! The things we do

This is a picture of Isla reading, it was so cute I had to add it.

Our second last day and we went and had a look at the pinnacles, (I hadnt been there since I was 8 or 9 so I was looking forward to seeing it again)I was looking for a particular kind of pinnancle, that I remembered from my childhood. (Only those who have been there might catch up to this)

They are pretty cool considering there is so many of them in the middle of nowhere and nowhere else in australia has them.
.

We then had some 4 x 4 bush bashing adventures along the beach and in the sandunes, had lunch at a park and saw a echidna! We also found a beach called Torquoise Bay and guess what? It was just that colour, Crystal clear waters.

That was the end of the mini tour and we are looking forward to the BIG TRAVEL AROUND AUSTRALIA WITH NO END DATE!! DONT TELL GRANDMA XXX
